Transfer processing times and cutoffs

Transfer timing depends on the method used and when the transfer is initiated. Karat Transfers (between Karat customers) are processed instantly. ACH transfers typically take 3 to 5 business days to complete. Business days do not include weekends or federal bank holidays. Domestic wire transfers are processed the same business day if submitted before 1:30 PM PT. Wires submitted after the cutoff time, on weekends, or on bank holidays will be processed the next business day. International wire transfers typically take 1 to 5 business days to arrive. Delivery timelines may vary depending on the receiving bank and international clearing procedures. Transfers initiated on weekends or holidays begin processing on the next business day.
