Karat and our partner banks observe U.S. federal banking holidays. On these dates, banks are closed and certain payment types will not be processed until the next business day. This may affect ACH transfers, wire transfers, check processing, and other scheduled transactions.

  • Memorial Day Monday, May 25, 2026
  • Juneteenth Friday, June 19, 2026
  • Independence Day Saturday, July 4, 2026 (Observed on July 3rd)
  • Labor Day Monday, September 7, 2026
  • Indigenous Peoples’ Day Monday, October 12, 2026
  • Veterans Day Wednesday, November 11, 2026
  • Thanksgiving Day Thursday, November 26, 2026
  • Christmas Day Friday, December 25, 2026
If a holiday falls on a weekend, it is typically observed on the nearest weekday:
  • Saturday holidays are observed on Friday
  • Sunday holidays are observed on Monday
