Social platform verification during application
Connect your social platforms during your Karat application so we can verify your business, and see which platforms and verification methods are supported.
As part of your application, you’ll be asked to connect your social platforms so Karat can verify your business identity. Reviewing your online presence helps us better understand your business and evaluate eligibility.
If you’re applying under the Content creator business vertical, you must connect at least one social platform to submit your application. Until you have at least one account connected, Continue on the Socials step stays disabled, the Review step shows the Socials section as incomplete, and submitting the application returns an error. Non-creator applicants don’t see this step.
You can connect an account through OAuth for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, X (Twitter), or OnlyFans, or enter your handle manually for Etsy, LinkedIn, Patreon, Shopify, or Spotify. If an OAuth verification flow doesn’t work, you can enter your platform information manually and continue with your application.
Linking more accounts can help unlock faster approvals and higher starting limits.
When you connect a platform, we receive read-only access. We do not post, manage, or make changes to your accounts, and we do not have access to your login credentials.
If you disconnect a social account after your application is already submitted, your submitted application is not affected.
