Karat collects two types of addresses: your Business address and your Mailing address. Each serves a different purpose.

Business address

Your Business address is the physical location where your business operates. This address:
  • Must be a physical address located in the United States
  • Can be your residential address if you do not have a separate office
  • Cannot be a P.O. Box or Private Mailbox (PMB)
  • Cannot be located outside of the United States
Your Business address is used for verification and regulatory compliance purposes. This address cannot be updated directly from your dashboard. If you need to make a change, please contact us for assistance.

Mailing address

Your Mailing address is used for shipping physical cards and other correspondence. You can update your Mailing address at any time from: Settings > General Your Mailing address must:
  • Be a physical U.S. address
  • Be deliverable by the United States Postal Service
We cannot ship physical cards to P.O. Boxes or PMBs. Providing accurate address information helps avoid delays in verification and card delivery. Karat is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided by Grasshopper Bank, N.A., Member FDIC. The Karat Visa® Business Credit Card is issued by Cross River Bank, Member FDIC, and pursuant to a license from Visa️ USA.
