Karat makes it easy to receive payouts directly from creator platforms and payment providers. To direct your earnings to Karat Banking, you’ll need to update your payout settings on each platform you use. Find your platform below for step-by-step instructions. You’ll need your Karat Banking account and routing number before you start. You can find these in your dashboard under Banking > Account Info.
Several platforms including X/Twitter, Kick, Fourthwall, Stan Store, and TikTok use Stripe to process payouts. If your platform isn’t listed below, look for a “Manage with Stripe” option in its payout settings and follow the Stripe steps.
  1. Go to google.com/adsense and sign in.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Payments, then Payment info.
  3. Scroll to How you get paid and click Manage payment methods.
  4. Click Add payment method and enter your Karat Banking account details: account holder name, bank name, routing number, and account number. Double-check for typos.
  5. Once added, click Set as primary next to your new account.
Depending on your country, AdSense may deposit a small test amount to verify the account. If prompted, return to AdSense and enter the exact amount to complete verification.Payouts are typically issued between the 21st and 26th of each month, provided you meet the payment threshold.
  1. Go to paypal.com and log in.
  2. Navigate to Wallet (desktop: top navigation; mobile: Menu > Wallet).
  3. Click Link a bank account. You can link via Plaid or enter your routing and account number manually.
  4. PayPal will send two small test deposits within 1-3 business days. Once they appear, return to Wallet, click your new account, then Confirm, and enter the deposit amounts.
  5. After confirmation, set your new account as the primary withdrawal method if PayPal hasn’t done so automatically.
Several platforms use Stripe for payouts. There are two types of Stripe accounts depending on your platform.Stripe Express (used by TikTok, Gumroad, Substack, Patreon, Teachable, Podia, Ko-fi, Fourthwall, and more)
  1. Open your creator platform and go to Payouts or Payment Settings.
  2. Click Manage with Stripe or Access Stripe Dashboard.
  3. In Stripe Express, go to Settings and follow this guide from Stripe to update your bank account.
Stripe Standard (less common)
  1. Log in at dashboard.stripe.com.
  2. Go to Settings > Bank accounts and scheduling.
  3. Edit your existing account or add a new one. Stripe may ask you to verify ownership.
  1. Go to patreon.com and log in.
  2. Click your profile photo, go to Settings, then Payouts and taxes in the left sidebar.
  3. Click Edit next to your current payout method.
  4. Remove the old method if needed, then select Add a new payout method.
  5. Choose Direct Deposit (U.S. only) and enter your account type, routing number, account number, bank name, and address.
  6. If prompted, complete identity verification via Persona.
Payouts typically occur on the 5th of each month or on demand depending on your settings.
Kick uses Stripe for payouts.Option A: Via Kick’s interface
  1. Sign in to Kick and go to Creator Dashboard > Revenue.
  2. In the setup flow, navigate to Step 7: Select an account for payouts.
  3. Enter your new routing number, account number, account type, and currency, then click Save > Agree & Submit. A confirmation email from Stripe will follow.
Option B: Directly in Stripe
  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard and go to Settings > Bank accounts and scheduling.
  2. Click Edit next to your payout account. You may need to verify via email, SMS, or your previous bank details.
  3. Enter your new bank details and save.
Any payout already in transit will go to the old account. Future payouts will use the new one.
X uses Stripe Express for payouts.
  1. Log in at x.com.
  2. Click your profile picture, select Monetization, and choose your enrolled program.
  3. Click Payout Settings or View in Stripe to open your Stripe Express dashboard.
  4. In Stripe, go to Settings > Bank accounts and scheduling, click Edit, enter your new bank details, and save.
Stripe may send a confirmation or require re-verification. Make sure your account is verified to avoid payout delays.
Fourthwall uses Stripe for payouts.
  1. Go to fourthwall.com and sign in.
  2. Click your profile icon, then go to Settings > Payments.
  3. Click Manage payout settings to open your Stripe dashboard.
  4. In Stripe, go to Payout Settings > Bank accounts and scheduling, then edit your existing account or add a new one.
  5. Enter your new bank details and save. Stripe may require microdeposit or ID verification.
Double-check that your payout schedule is still active after making changes.
Stan Store uses Stripe for payouts.
  1. Go to stan.store and sign in.
  2. Click your profile icon and select Dashboard.
  3. In the left sidebar, go to Earnings or Payout Settings.
  4. Click Manage with Stripe to open your Stripe dashboard.
  5. Go to Settings > Payouts and Bank Accounts, then edit your existing account or add a new one.
  6. Enter your new account number and routing number, then save. Follow any microdeposit verification steps if prompted.
Instructions vary depending on which TikTok program you use.TikTok Creator Fund / Creativity Program
  1. Open TikTok and tap your profile, then the three lines in the top-right corner.
  2. Go to Creator Tools > Balance > Withdraw.
  3. Tap Payout Settings to open your Tipalti or Stripe dashboard.
  4. In Tipalti: go to Payment Method and update your bank info. In Stripe: go to Settings > Bank accounts and update your details.
TikTok Shop
  1. Visit seller.tiktokglobalshop.com and log in.
  2. Go to Finance > Bank Account.
  3. Click Edit or Replace, enter your new account details, and verify your identity if prompted.
  1. Go to dashboard.twitch.tv/settings/revenue and log in.
  2. Scroll to the Onboarding section and click Change Payout Method.
  3. Open the Payment Methods dropdown and select Direct Deposit / ACH.
  4. Enter your account holder name, bank name, routing number, and account number. Double-check for typos.
  5. Save your changes.
Payouts are typically issued around the 15th of each month, provided you meet the payout threshold.
