If you belong to multiple business entities, you can switch between organizations directly from your dashboard.

How to switch organizations

To switch to a different organization:
  1. Tap the organization name and avatar in the bottom left of your dashboard
  2. Select the organization you want to switch to from the list
  3. Wait for the switch to complete
You’ll see a “Switching to…” overlay while the change is in progress. Once complete, your dashboard will refresh to show the newly selected organization’s accounts, cards, and transactions.

What happens during a switch

When you switch organizations:
  • Your session updates to the new organization’s context
  • All account data refreshes to show the selected organization
  • Your cards, transactions, and settings reflect the new organization
  • You remain logged in with the same credentials
Each organization maintains its own separate accounts, cards, team members, and settings.

Managing multiple businesses

If you manage multiple business entities, switching organizations lets you:
  • Access each business entity’s banking and credit accounts separately
  • View transactions and statements for each entity
  • Manage cards and team members per entity
  • Keep financial data isolated between business entities
The organization switcher shows all organizations associated with your account. You can switch between them at any time without logging out.

Migrating to multi-entity structure

If you’re currently using Karat under separate logins and want to manage multiple business entities under one account, we can help consolidate everything into a multi-entity setup.

How to request a migration

To get started, contact our team and include:
  • A list of all account email addresses you’d like consolidated
  • The primary email address you want to use as your main login going forward
Our team will review your request and complete the migration on your behalf. Once finalized, you’ll be able to access and switch between your organizations directly from the dashboard using the organization switcher.
