How roles work
Karat supports four primary user roles with different access levels across Card and Banking. Users can hold different roles for different products. For example, a user may be a Manager for Banking and an Employee for Card. The exception is the Admin role. An Admin always has full account access across all products.User role types
AdminFull access to all products, settings, and team management across the entire account. Manager
Broad access within assigned products, including transaction review and approvals. Employee
Limited access within assigned products, typically restricted to their own activity and subject to transaction limits or approval workflows. Accountant
