You can add notes to settled banking transactions to keep track of additional context, such as what a payment was for or how it should be categorized.
Notes are visible to other members of your organization who have access to the transaction.
How to add a note
Open transaction details
Go to Banking and click on any settled transaction to open its details.
Add your note
In the Notes field at the bottom of the transaction details, type your note. Notes can be up to 140 characters.
Note saves automatically
Your note saves automatically after you stop typing. A Saved confirmation appears briefly to confirm.
Editing or removing a note
To update a note, open the transaction details and edit the text in the Notes field. To remove a note, clear the text. Changes save automatically.
