Billing cycle

Your Karat Card billing cycle runs from the 1st through the last day of each month.

Payment due date

Your statement balance is due on the 1st day of the following month. For example, your February balance is due on March 1. Payment due dates cannot be changed.

Autopay timing

Autopay runs automatically on the 1st of each month at 6:00 AM PT and is designed to pay your full statement balance on time. ACH payments typically take 1 to 3 business days to clear, depending on your bank. Payment status may appear pending until processing is complete.

Rescheduling a payment

If you need to adjust your upcoming payment, contact us as soon as possible. We must be notified at least two business days before the 1st to pause or modify autopay. In certain situations, our team may approve a new payment date or a structured payment arrangement. Payment arrangements are reviewed case-by-case and must be followed as agreed. Missed payments under an active arrangement may void the agreement.

Return payments

If a payment fails due to insufficient funds, a closed account, or a bank processing error, your account may be temporarily restricted until the balance is resolved. Returned payments may also trigger additional account review. Karat is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided by Grasshopper Bank, N.A., Member FDIC.
