Karat offers two subscription tiers: Standard and Premium. Your plan determines your yield, fees, and access to additional tools like AI Bookkeeping. See below comparision for details. All Karat customers have access to Business Checking, the Tax ATP account, Banking Cards, and the Karat Card (if approved). Premium enhances your earnings and unlocks additional functionality. You can view and manage your subscription at any time by going to: Settings > General > Manage Karat Premium subscription.

Why upgrade to Premium?

Karat Premium increases the yield on your balances and removes certain fees, but the one of the biggest unlock is AI Bookkeeping. With Premium, you get:
  • Higher APY on Checking and Tax ATP
  • Free outgoing domestic wires
  • Full access to AI Bookkeeping
AI Bookkeeping automatically categorizes transactions and generates real-time financial reports, including your profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. You can export a general ledger and provide accountant-ready reports directly from your dashboard. For many customers, the increased APY and wire savings can offset the monthly cost, while the bookkeeping tools reduce the need for separate software. Premium is $20 per month and may be free if you maintain a $35,000 balance. You can start a one-month free trial of Karat Premium at any time. Premium benefits begin immediately.
If your account becomes restricted or frozen, your Karat Premium subscription will be automatically cancelled. You will not be able to subscribe to Karat Premium while your account is restricted.
