How to Add a New Bank Account to Withdraw from PayPal

1. Log In to Your PayPal Account

2. Go to Wallet

  • Desktop: Click "Wallet" at the top of the screen.

  • Mobile: Tap the Menu icon, then tap "Wallet."

3. Remove the Old Bank Account (Optional)

  • Under "Bank accounts," click your old account.

  • Select "Remove bank account" if you no longer plan to use it.

4. Link Your New Bank Account

  • In the Wallet section, click or tap "Link a bank account."

  • Use Plaid to link your account, or…

  • Choose the account type: Checking or Savings.

  • Enter your new bank's routing number and account number.

  • Confirm and save.

5. Confirm Your Bank Account

  • PayPal will make two small deposits (usually < $1) to your new account within 1-3 business days.

  • Once you see these deposits, return to Wallet.

  • Click your new bank account, then "Confirm," and enter the deposit amounts.

6. Set Your New Bank as Primary (if needed)

  • After confirmation, select your new bank account as the primary withdrawal method if PayPal didn't do so automatically.
