1. Log In to Your PayPal Account
Go to https://www.paypal.com and log in.
2. Go to Wallet
Desktop: Click "Wallet" at the top of the screen.
Mobile: Tap the Menu icon, then tap "Wallet."
3. Remove the Old Bank Account (Optional)
Under "Bank accounts," click your old account.
Select "Remove bank account" if you no longer plan to use it.
4. Link Your New Bank Account
In the Wallet section, click or tap "Link a bank account."
Use Plaid to link your account, or…
Choose the account type: Checking or Savings.
Enter your new bank's routing number and account number.
Confirm and save.
5. Confirm Your Bank Account
PayPal will make two small deposits (usually < $1) to your new account within 1-3 business days.
Once you see these deposits, return to Wallet.
Click your new bank account, then "Confirm," and enter the deposit amounts.
6. Set Your New Bank as Primary (if needed)
After confirmation, select your new bank account as the primary withdrawal method if PayPal didn't do so automatically.
