# Set transaction alerts for your Karat Card

You can receive SMS alerts for credit card transactions that exceed a specific dollar amount.

To manage transaction alerts:

1. Go to **Settings > Credit Card**
2. Under **Alerts**, toggle Transaction Alerts on or off
3. Set your threshold under “Text me when transactions are over”
4. Click **Change threshold** to update the amount

Once enabled, you’ll receive a text message when a transaction exceeds your selected amount.

Setting a low threshold (such as \$0.01) allows you to receive alerts for every transaction. Transaction alerts can help you monitor spending in real time and quickly identify unauthorized activity.

Alerts are sent to the phone number listed under **Settings > General > Personal information**. If you’re not receiving alerts, confirm your phone number is correct and that alerts are turned on.
