# How to cancel Karat Premium subscription

To cancel your Karat Premium free trial:

1. Go to **Settings > General**
2. Navigate to **Manage Karat Premium Subscription**
3. Click **Cancel subscription**
4. Select a cancellation reason from the provided options
5. Optionally, provide feedback in the text field to help us improve (up to 200 characters)
6. Click **Continue** to proceed to the confirmation step
7. Review the benefits you'll be losing and click **Downgrade** to complete the cancellation

You're all set. We're sorry to see you go! If you ever decide to resubscribe to Karat Premium, you can do so anytime under **Settings > General > Manage Karat Premium Subscription**.

### What happens if I cancel during a free trial?

Your Karat Premium subscription ends immediately upon cancellation, and yield stops accruing at that time. Any earned yield will be paid out on the 1st of the following month.

### What happens if my account is restricted?

If your account becomes restricted or frozen, your Karat Premium subscription will be automatically cancelled. You will not be able to resubscribe to Karat Premium until the restriction is lifted. Once your account is unrestricted, you can subscribe again under **Settings > General > Manage Karat Premium Subscription**.
